I will fight, I will fight, I will fight for my clients!

The first hurdle has been cleared for my client. We confidently move forward looking to successfully clear the second and final hurdle. My client is currently incarcerated in the Allegheny County Jail on a probation violation. We will call my client "Joe." Today at the preliminary hearing I was able to squash the Possession (of a controlled substance) charge against Joe at the magistrate. The reason why that was important is because now we have a very strong chance of getting Joe's probation detainer lifted. The probation detainer is what is holding Joe in the Allegheny County Jail. Joe is on a probation violation detainer and was looking at serious time in prison based on this Possession charge. Fortunately, after today's positive result I should be able to get Joe's detainer lifted so that he can resume his life outside of jail with his loving family.
